WKA FIGHT NIGHT NEWS The WKA fight night was held in Shotts Bon Accord, Glasgow on Saturday 3rd July. Dean Sutherland fought Jack Owens again of IAKSA (a rematch instigated by Jacks coaches after Dean beat him at the Paisley fight night in May). Dean weighed in at 34.6kg and Jack weighed in at 35.2kg. Both boys were hungry to get there hands on the vacant Full Contact Title. Dan had to raise his game by fighting 5 x 1˝ minute rounds (his first fight of this length) but won the 5 rounds unanimously and said afterwards that he enjoyed the 5 rounds more than 3 !!! Congratulations to Dean who won the WKA Scottish <35kg Full Contact Title

SCHOOL SUMMER HOLIDAYS - CLASS SCHEDULE MERGED CLASSES As our classes become quiet during the School Summer Holidays, we will be merging the following classes to ensure the classes are not empty. From Monday 5th July to Monday 16th August Mon & Wed Little Ninjas to attend Tuesday & Thursday 4:15pm Mon & Wed Kickin’ Kids to attend Tuesday & Thursday 5:45pm Mon & Wed Junior TKD to attend Tuesday & Thursday 6:45pm Senior classes remain unchanged. The following dates will be affected JULY Mon 5^th, Wed 7^th, Mon 12^th, Wed 14^th, Mon 19^th, Wed 21^st, CLOSED FOR 2 WEEKS (detailed below). AUGUST Mon 9^th, Wed 11^th All classes return to normal days on Monday 16^th August. CLOSURE DATES The academy will be CLOSED for it's annual summer break for 2 weeks as detailed below: Closed on Sunday 25th July Open on Monday 9th August		GRADUATION RESULTS - Senior Taekwon-Do Sunday 4th July Following our graduation on Sunday 4th July, the following results were awarded: 4th Kup - Mike Simpson, Gordon Baxter, Scott Horne, Rachel Montague 5th Kup - Frederic Place, Roy Maclean, Mark Smith 7th Kup - Dee Hunter, Stephen Dionne Congratulations to them all and farewell to Freddie who is sadly leaving us as he has relocated to Edinburgh. We wish him well.
