Self defence skills - You will learn offensive and defensive skills which will increase your ability to defend yourself from attack. Taekwon-Do can give you the ability and confidence to defend yourself powerfully and effectively.
Improved health & fitness - Taekwon-Do sessions contain cardiovascular workouts, callisthenics, endurance training and all over strength development. This promotes weight loss, muscle development and suppleness. Whilst learning the various techniques, you will be developing a high level of fitness, flexibility and self-discipline.

Patterns
will work every
muscle in your body as well as teach you how
to combine the techniques of Tae Kwon-do. They will improve
your co-ordination, balance and memory along with giving you a deep sense
of pride as you perform something powerful and
dynamic.
Achievement
Some people simply love the challenge of learning a Martial Art. You
will learn to persevere in order to
achieve your goals and feel a sense of pride and achievement each time a higher rank
level (belt) is awarded.
The
path to blackbelt is a journey and achieving blackbelt can only be measured by
the effort taken to acquire it. If it is easy, then it is probably worth
very little.
Students who train twice a week, work hard, listen well, practice outside of class, and push themselves, will obviously gain more than those who don't.
