Cove Gala Day Demo
12th June 2010

Our first demo in a very long time took place at the Cove Gala on Saturday 12th June.  It was well received although the weather could have been much better.

Students participating in the demo were as follows:

Ninjas - Saranyan Balan (4), Megan Philip (5), Zaid Farook (5), Lyall Keir (6), Gary Livingstone (6), Mitchell Glen (7), Ben Jamieson (6)
Juniors - Dean Sutherland (11), Rogan Rennie (12), Lauren Kiloh (11), Amy Craig (10), Dannielle Gallacher (9).
Teens - Kerri Jamieson (15), Halle Stuart (15), Gordon Trinder (14), Dylan Craig (13), Julie Whyte (15).

The students all performed well even with the cold conditions.  The Ninjas did us proud demonstrating their skills of Focus, Co-ordination, Memory and Technical. They definately got their fair share of attention from the crowd.  The Juniors then demonstrated Team Patterns, Blocking Techniques, Sparring and a variety of board breaking and flying techniques.  The Teens demonstrated Kicking Drills, Team Patterns, Self Defence, Sparring and One-Step and Board Breaking.

The put on a great performance and we definately hope to have another demo sometime soon!!
