Regional Blackbelt Training is held ONCE a Month (9 months of the year) for 3 hours to provide specific Technical Training.  

These classes open to all ITF Blackbelts.  The cost for non academy members will be £15 per class.

Training sessions for selection for the ITF Scotland Team to compete at the ITF European Championships, Slovakia, October 21st-23rd 2011 have been updated.  

To be considered for selection you must regularly attend the National Team training sessions.

ITF Scotland Team Training is open to 3rd Kups and above, age 13 years and over.  Attending these training sessions gives you the opportunity for selection into the ITF Scotland Team for participation in future European and World Championships.  Please remember to inform Master Wallace if you are attending this training.

Umpire training was held for all Blackbelts for 5 hours in the academy.  This training was mandatory for all our Blackbelts as they must be up to date with tournament rules prior to the North East Challenge Cup which we are hosting with Mr Boydell on 19th September.

A pre-grading Technical Seminar was held from 9am-12pm with 17 attending.  This seminar was hosted by Master G Wallace VII Deg, Mr D MCNairn VI Deg and Mr M Boydell IV Deg.  We were pleased to see so many people in attendance to help support those who were testing at the Blackbelt Exam in the afternoon.  Exam Results

Instructors Training

NTA UMPIRE COURSE
The NTA Umpire Course was held on Saturday 19th November in Aberdeen from 9am - 6pm with 24 members attending.  The course was hosted by Master G Wallace VII Deg, Mr D McNairn VI Deg and Mr M Boydell V Deg.  

Schools in attendance were Aberdeen, Inverbervie, Montrose, Ellon and Stonehaven.

First Aid Course

NTA First Aid Course 
Glen Esk Hotel, Edzell
Saturday 3rd December (9:00am-4:30pm)
This course was presented by Angie Mutch who was also the first aider at our North East Challenge Cup.  It was well attended with 5 Blackbelts from our academy in attendance and was very informative with First Aid for Adults, Children and Sport Injuries.
