The 2004 Annual Academy Awards were held on the 5th February 2005 at the Northern Hotel in Aberdeen. Over 155 people attended and we were delighted to see everyone looking so smart!!. It was a great night and was made even better by the addition of our Childrens Entertainment this year. Jeff Burns (brother of Mr Burns, 1st Degree), provided us with an excellent magic show to entertain the kids as well as the adults. His show was very well received and we have asked him to return again next year.
It was great to get
together with students and their family and friends to congratulate our Award
Winners and enjoy a great evening together ! We must also thank our VIP
guests who helped present our awards. Master Sheena Sutherland (7th Deg),
Mr Sandy Dunbar (6th Deg), Mr David McNairn (5th Deg), Mr John Mcilvaney (5th
Deg), Mr Mark Davies (4th Deg), Mr Graham Aitken (3rd Deg) Mr Mark Boydell (2nd
Deg).
After the Awards Ceremony, we held our raffle. The top prize winners of our main raffle were - Lewis Thorn ( £100 M&S Vouchers) and Mr John Macilvaney, 4th Degree ( £40 Debenhams Vouchers). We also provided a separate raffle for the kids and top prize winners were: Lee Finnie (£30 HMV Vouchers) and Lauren Kiloh (£15 UGC Vouchers). Well done !! £100 from the proceeds of the raffle was donated to the Asia Tsunami Appeal, so thank you to everyone who contributed!!
We would also like thank everyone who attended for supporting the Academy and helping us to celebrate the students successes in 2004.
